conference calls for the TUC to organise a 24-hour general strike

The NUJ conference taking place in
Southport has voted for the TUC to be called on to organise a 24-hour
general strike against the government's cuts onslaught.
The conference also agreed to
support the National Shop Stewards Network, as well as other national
anti-cuts organisations.
