Dear supporters,

It has become apparent that a rumour is being circulated that as Steve won one of his Tribunal cases he must be quids in, counting his compensation.
 

Nothing could be further from the truth. Despite winning, Steve has not had a penny. In fact there is a 'Remedy Hearing' on 22nd December in Manchester where the company will argue that by protesting outside the power station Steve has impeded his own search for work (!!) - he has failed to "mitigate his loss" in legal terms and so should not be compensated. The argument is quite ridiculous - even though Steve is clearly blacklisted he has continued to put his CV into various construction sites and the union is trying to place him on a site also.

We will be organising a support vigil on the morning of the 22nd outside the courts in Manchester.
